Key Lime Pie

Got a lot of limes from the tree we grow in the backyear (below).

So found a recipe from the web (link). It is from Betty Crocker's website features a Lemon Lime half-and-half icebox pie. Turn out we have enough lime, so no need to do half-and-half. You can make your own pie crust from scratch, I just bought one from the supermarket.

Ingredients

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
3 egg yolks
1 teaspoon grated lime peel
1/2 cup fresh lime juice

Instructions

Step 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Follow the crust's instruction on the preparation. Let it cool.
Step 2
In medium bowl, mix condensed milk, egg yolks, lime peel, and lime juice until blended. Pour into crust.
Step 3
Bake 20 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely on cooling rack, about 1 hour. Cover; refrigerate 4 hours or until well chilled.
Step 4
Garnish with lemon and lime slices. Store covered in refrigerator.

As you can see the ingredients are so simple. Mostly condensed milk. So it taste a little bit like cream cheeze.
